Re: SpaceX News

If a second stage is recoverable, return to launch site about a day after liftoff isn't difficult. Just wait in orbit until the launch site again approaches the orbital ground-path. Return to launch site after a single orbit is harder, especially from high inclination orbits. Recovering a second sta...

Seems to be an emphasis on laser / plasma interaction in the listed codes. Documentation isn't entirely clear for setting up simulations for some of the...

Why do you hate plants, and wish to starve them of the CO2 they need to grow?

Mintruth has already flagged the video as offensive and disabled most features. No doubt the NAZIs at youtube will find it intensively offensive.
Personally find it humorous.

Re: Crime and Punishment: Oklahoma (& Texas) style!

In sane courts with a competent prosecutor, jurors are given the option of finding guilty lesser included crimes from the primary charge. Such as finding guilty for second degree murder when the defendant is charged with first degree but the element of premeditation is unproven.

If you're requiring the driver (or bot) to make a spot check to not hit you when you're crossing the street, you're doing it wrong.

... Though this incident does illustrate a bug in the system that it didn't avoid the obstruction in the car's path.

Re: Crime and Punishment: Oklahoma (& Texas) style!

You can make it more difficult by prohibiting convicted criminals from having them, but criminals are well known for doing what the law forbids. - Cops can't protect you in...

Re: Crime and Punishment: Oklahoma (& Texas) style!

- Often in the real world a "first responder" is a private citizen who happens to be present when something happens. - I take a generally very dim view on exempting police from the law the rest of us are expected to follow. On those 2 points, "gun free zones" can get in the way of doing the right th...
