Jim has produced some scaling evidence in the past but not since he started showing these much larger thrusts. I think scaling studies are on the agenda but he has been busy dispensing with the charges he has a dean-drive type friction effect lately by using rubber washers that attenuate the vibrat...

Yes, it's rather concerning that Sonny has not attempted to get his calculation published in a decent journal. GR calculations are really tricky, so the probability of being wrong is not insignificant. All: Try this one at General Relativity and Gravitation (GERG) for starters: "A Discussion of Spa...

Paul, Does he have to drive the stack with an oscillator? Can he rig it to be driven by an external RF Cavity? Just thinking out loud. Ladajo: I guess the PZT stack could be driven by an external RF Cavity, but if we are talking about a resonant RF cavity, think about the size it would be at 30 kHz...

Hi Paul, Sorry, I wasn't very clear, was I? I remember you posting a while back that there would likely be a lot more to come once Jim got round to switching to a more promising type of cap. Do I misremember? Has Jim already switched? 150 uN is an order of magnitude above the 10-20 uN we were heari...

First, we'll see if White's experiments yield positive results. It will take a lot of review of the experiment before we know anything. It seems to me there are several scenarios whereby you could get a positive result and not have created a warp field. This is why models like this usually go thoug...

Paul, I'm a bit confused by this. How does this experiment differ from standard laser interferometry experiments that look for the gravitational effect of light? Simple, the LIGO experiment doesn't try to induce a spactime distortion in one of the legs of the interferometer. This test series does. ...

Paul... for a warp drive, we would need contraction in one "side" and expansion at the other side right? the expansion is the part that would need negative mass correct? Which so far, the only way to theoretically achieve it would be through Woodward´s theories? AcesHigh: Re-read White's Warp-Field...

It also made the mainstream news. See how it goes... The White-Juday Warp Field Interferometer experiment is rather straight-forward and the first phase of it using DC excitation of the warp core will be completed by this coming Xmas. From there we check out White's ac warp-core approach operating ...

We do know where the major problem in getting consistent force output results are with these present M-E PZT based stacks and its making their mechanical and electrical resonances align and track each other over both frequency, phase and Stack temperature variations that directly affect the stack's...

Sorry, I missed some things: or temperature effects: convection - if vacuum not good radiation - (don't dismiss it!) radiometer type effects (which I don't properly understand) It is a pity Jim probably can't publish his stuff. You really need the type of critical appraisal from multiple 3rd partie...

Jim is seeing a real thrust signal and no, its origins are not from any mundane source we have investigated to date which are close to a hundred now. chrismb only ever asked about one mundane source; to put the electrical energy source within the same inertial frame as the body being 'thrusted' - t...

Ric:

Define what you mean by "old style caps". Woodward's current "N" series PZT-Stacks are made from 1.0 mm thick Steiner & Martin SM111 PZT discs.

So the boost does nothing from the perspective of the spacecraft. . . Here you have put your finger on the real issue. The real issue is, that for the warp to take its direction from velocity, velocity would have to be absolute rather than relative. That's true. I'm sure what Paul and Sonny intende...
