Note that a Glossary is a good idea if, and only if, the terms are put into the context of the Polywell. For instance, somebody can look up the term Maxwellian Distribution, and this might not give them any idea what the pertinence was when used in conjunction with the discussion of the Polywell. A ...

You have the essence of my argument, yes. The Joe McCarthy post was in response to the quote in the post previous to it from Gary Graham, who intimated that the liberal bias is a slippery slope to communism emerging in the US. "Worldwide, I’ve seen Liberalism metastasize into virulent incarnations o...

Panel Suggests Fewer Restrictions on Science
The president elect is being advised to loosen secrecy and immigration policies for scientists: http://www.newsdaily.com/stories/tre507 ... y-science/
Not sure whether, if this is implemented, it would have any effect on the secrecy surrounding Polywell. Interesting, nonetheless.

I think that your math is a bit spurious, as is most on this subject. But, if we assume it's correct, it's not something to make any conclusions about. Your paper would be rejected if you did not have at least a P.05 certainty, statistically. It's a hypothesis at this point, hardly tested. Discovery...

IIRC the Mayan ages always end with something like a world-destroying flood or earthquake, and we're facing the same sort of thing in 2012, according to their reckoning. What really interests me is that there are obscuritan Christian cults who have caught on to this, and use numerology to confirm th...

There has, apparently, been some real progress, but the details are quite obscure at this point. Most of what you might need to know can be found in this thread: http://www.talk-polywell.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=965 Note that there is considerable political debate in the thread, so you'll have to pick...

Oh, I believe that people think this is a problem. You're not alone. But I think it's just more fear-mongering. The sky is falling because people in the media have a liberal tendency. I'm not seeing it. Fortunately for me, I think that radical ideas for altering the system will not be adopted. Compl...

Um... Perk... Huffington was, at one point a Republican (married to one, at least, even if he did turn out to be bisexual), and spouted conservative rhetoric. Then she did an abrupt left turn, you're right, but I'm old enough to recall her conservative days. Some might say she's politically complex,...

The dubious part is the overall benefit. That is, if one hundred lives are saved by the deterrent effect, but one thousand lives are lost because of accidents or crimes that would be less lethal had the perpetrator not had a gun, is it a net benefit? I think that the lives lost to GSW in the US is s...
