Lots of efforts to follow now besides Rossi – now if only we could get some good papers... List of Ni-H efforts to date: Brian Ahern – claiming 8W excess power http://nextbigfuture.com/2011/06/brian-ahern-getting-8-watts-in-low.html Brillouin Energy – claiming 2X excess power http://nextbigfuture.co...

Of course, he may be an expert on calorimetry & detecting very small quantities of tritium. Or he may, outside his normal area, overlook trivial...

He says he is working with Los Alamos. Can mean anything. Don't start rejoicing till you hear from LANL... Apparently LANL (Tom Claytor) has already started replication using Brillouin's docs... "As for the nature of the experiments at LANL, I [Robert Godes] only learned of them late in the day on ...

Hmmm Brillouin getting Los Alamos to replicate their work. This could make this circus more interesting....

Not sure I understand. Water came out of my hose, which is a good indication that there would be water in Rossi's hose. In the Nytek video, you can hear it gurgling (just like mine) and in the Krivit one, Rossi empties the water out before lifting the hose. If you are simulating an e-cat and can re...

chrismb - maybe you can use Lewan's numbers - we know by weight he was seeing 4.12kg/h go into the ECat - then you could use 345W from his measurements as well as 780W from the Krivit demo. If you assume the 4.12 kg/h than: 0.345 Kw/h will rise temperature of that flow of "only" 72'C, so, hardly no...

Regardless of the temperature, what Chris video proved is that the steam flow in Krivit video is not consistent with a flow of 7 Kg/h, nor with a flow of 4 Kg/h. Just question: Is not it possible that the length of the hose affects it? One more thing: If e-cat is supposed to work as heater, is not ...

If you look at Lewan’s video at the beginning (around 0:05-0:17) you can see when the peristaltic pump pushing water through the tube (the tube jumps). Looks like it happens every 2 seconds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVEBCN6D13w If you look at Krivit’s video you can see the pump in action aroun...

It certainly appears that the Krivit demo was bogus unless there was a WHOLE lot of condensing going on in the tube. Does anyne remember seeing the initiation curve for the Krivit demo or had it reached "steady state"?? The problem is that the tube can only dissipate a fixed (and small) amount of h...

chrismb - very cool - glad you stuck around in the thread! :) In the Kullander and both Lewan demos the power was only 345W and like you said the steam in the bucket in Lewan's video looks more impressive. Also in the 1st three demo's the hydrogen was connected and weighed. In Kirvit's demo power wa...

I find it curious that owners of LTI are insulating LTI from Rossi using a new company. I find it curious that this new company is necessary at all. seedload Companies do this all the time with new technology - prevents exposure of existing and successful company (large govt contracts) to liabiliti...

If it wasn't embarrassing it'd be funny. ... there again, it might well be both!! I am pretty much embarrassed for the way a professor of the oldest university in my country did reply to a critic of his experiment. Maybe the time when professors used to reply to critics with "data" instead of actin...

Indeed. It is pretty difficult to imagine such a mechanism which would not have left other evidence. After all, nuclei, stable or unstable, are well studied and intract in very well defined ways with their environment. I posted this link before about a study of the stability of C-14. If isotope sta...
