The hypothecs that Rossi lies abut the e-cat is easy to make because he lie abut everything else. But there is really lots of experiments by others how seems to show extraordinary results. However its can depends on extra ordinary mistakes. But there seems to be some system in the results so maybe, ...

Wrong p+B reaktion.

A question about the B+p reaction.
I found this reaction in a paper abut the polywell.
p+B11 > C12+He4
C12+e-> Be12>2He4
Its looks complete wrong.
I think its more like this.
p+B11 > C12
C12+e- > Be8+He4
Be8 > 2He4

Test of graphite.

Now I have made some pre experiments but not the final test. First I tested for iron in magnetic pencil lead. Pencil lead contains graphite and clay. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pencil <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/77233366@N08/6807574732/" title="lab-1 by Torulf, on Flickr"><img src="http:...

It was abut 20 years ago I closed my home lab, but this is fun. I have buy some more stuff at e-bay and picked up my old glassware. Some of the old stuff is most useful as decorations.

I'm are going for it. I makes some preparations, makes chemical solutions, and clean my microwave oven. I waiting for the graphite to be delivered.

Its seems the biggest miracle of this devise is the destruction of energy.
For explain ( or for make excuses ) for this you may suggest the missing energy is consumed by fusion making stabile heavy nucleus, atomic numbers 29-83. Maybe I can make gold from carbon?

The cost may not be to large. I will made the first tests with equipment I already have. Then I can see watt I need to buy. I also have an not excellent but working Gieger counter I think to use during the test. A correction. "Potassium ferrocyanide trihydrate" and Fe gives blue colour. "potassium t...

One possibility is that the graphite contains lots of iron in a non magnetic compound and that microwaving change it to an magnetic compound.

I have ordered pure graphite powder. But the quartz tubing comes in 4 feet length= 121.92cm. My mikro oven is 28cm vide.
Can I divide quartz tubing in same way as pyrex tubes?

I think I will test it. I have no time this weekend but maybe next. I have lots of things left from my old home chemistry lab. I will use a porcelain crucible covered by a pyrex flask.
I will test it for iron and try to extract fullerenes.

You do not need a mass spectrometer for detect if the magnetic stuff is iron. Sort it out with magnets. Weigh it, get the volume with a glass measuring cylinder and water, is the density close to iron? But it can be small iron particles within carbon particles. Solve the iron oxide in concentrated h...

I think he have made some pytolytic graphite. Its use to be anti magnetic but can also be ferromagnetic.

Did they not use microwaves to ionises neutrals?
Or may use the pollywell mainly as an magnetic bottle for conversional fusion plasma.

I remember Dr Nebel said the polywell works in higher pressure than expected.
This may be a good thing then it may solve the problem to maintain the "vacuum" then fuel are added.
But maybe it forbid the pB fusion.
