Commercial e-beam fabbers are getting about 0.4 millimeter accuracy. Machining is still needed for bearing surfaces, etc. On the plus side, the final product is non-porous, full strength, and there is no bulk warpage, unlike those sintered metal magrid parts that Famulus obtained for his Polywell.

There are three possibilities; a) fusion power is impossible, b) the means to create fusion power already exists, technologically, but no-one has yet 'assembled' the 'correct' elements of the puzzle to make it work, c) the means to create fusion power does not currently exist and needs a key new fi...

Something like this dual-coil magrid picture Indrek provided http://www.mare.ee/indrek/ephi/double/double.png at http://www.talk-polywell.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=506&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=helium+wb7&start=15 but with current flowing in the SAME direction for each coil in a pair, and insu...

[OK, Marketing, try "Fluxomatic" then. Do NOT use the blender.] IF both end rings are same-diameter coils, wound in the same direction and spaced fairly close, like a Helmholz coil, or closer AND the conducting links between the end rings are insulated to avoid plasma shorts and comprise a separate ...

I'll let Marketing* worry about that.] Possible plasma tweaker, alpha collector, resonance tuner, or...? http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/HyperboloidAsARuledSurface/ http://www.google.com/patents/about?id=t8FkAAAAEBAJ&dq=3534908 http://www.google.com/patents/about?i...

"Perminov said the ship will have a megawatt-class nuclear reactor..."

NASA -- "At full power, the SSMEs generate, in watts, the equivalent of 23 Hoover Dams."

Dept. of Interior -- "[Hoover Dam] has a nameplate capacity of about 2,080 megawatts."

23*2080 MW = 47840 MW

Not for SSTO.

If quaternions can help with this, that would be a step forward. I have yet to see proof that capacitor stacks actually gain mass when energized. I have been following this technology for many years, but can't seem to find clarity on that question. Please let me know if I have missed something, and if possible please point me to a duplicated research study where...

The thing I pick up from reading stuff by quaternion boosters is that they tend to feel that (a) Heaviside & Gibbs dropped important stuff from quaternions in their work, stuff of real physical significance Do you mean "real physical significance" as in traditional 3x3 rotation transformation matri...
