Re: ZAP Energy News
Plus their design is very compact and it might make for an amazing space propulsion system. SJ, what method of propulsion? At this point their conversion approach is thermal. It's pretty straightforward, just let part of the fusion plasma out to act as propulsion. There was a paper from Shumlak on ...
Re: EM Drive
That was not possible until just few years ago due to prohibitive cost of sending anything into orbit.
The actual cheap access to space and the continuous cost reduction will soon make it less expensive to directly test in outer space than to test in a designed facility.

Re: EM Drive
They do not seem to be looking for any external funding for now, which means that they are quite convinced of their results.
Re: EM Drive
The just released a new presentation video on Youtube. Nothing new, but they seems to be pretty confident of their experimental results. It will be interesting to see what will happen in June. We will either learn how to improve Earth experimental setup to remove false positives or we will witness t...

Re: youtube Polywell critique with response from EMC2!
I am not really sure why he had the need to come out with such a video. It seems just a collection of hypothesis and half right/half wrong assumptions stick together to fill 30 mins of a video. But what really makes me really wonder is that he has been part of this board since the start (mattman) an...

Re: First Light Fusion News
Nick Hawker, First Light Fusion founder and CEO, has a blog ( https://nickhawker.com/ ). The whole blog is written to be on favor of their solution skipping most of the latest advancement in research (as example the latest pB11 cross-section review that we discussed few weeks ago here ). That said,...

My experience with Chat GPT-4
Warning, this is going to be a long post not related to Fusion but to AI and GPT4 in general. I spent the last couple of days testing Chat GPT-4 on different levels of complex technical and ethical queries and I thought it was interesting to summarize my experience with it. First Part: I started wi...
