Re: Joe Eck hits Tc = 65 C, 149 F
What troubles me about Eck's methodology is that he's only measurong one aspect of superconductor properties. I'll be a believer when he fabricates a shape out of his stuff, induces a current and finds the current still flowing a month later. Until then, we have no way to know if what he's got it re...
Re: BLP news
Axil, thank you, no--I'll let people more familiar with Mills and his theories comment. But whatever happened to the 2010 licensing agreement for 750MW continuous-production units with geogreen.it? It's been almost 4 years, after all--and not a peep from Geoenergie or Geo-green. You'd think that Mil...
Re: BLP news
A good read (published in a real journal, not a website) from 2005:
http://iopscience.iop.org/1367-2630/7/1/127/fulltext/
To the best of my knowledge, Dr. Mills never responded.

Re: 10KW LENR demonstrator (new thread)
if the item of interest is in the chart on page 7, point 3.6, I don't think that LENR in the sense of fusion is being referred to, as it's under the classification of "chemical". Rossi's/Defkalion's/Brillouin's devices would fall under 2.6, "thermal", which includes thermonuclear fusion reactions. R...

Re: 10KW LENR demonstrator (new thread)
Curiously, nobody seems to know the name of this South Korean manufacturer.
How strange.

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
That was pretty silly, wasn't it? About as silly as Rossi's claim that the US military was actively interested in his plumbing contraption. This really reminds me of Zenn (FGC then) and their really stupid venture with AEC (Alternate Energy Corporation). Sadly, they don't seem to have learned anythi...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Didn't Elon Musk (who does have relevant knowlege in capacitor technology--and has "people" who have relevant experience) quietly state that what EEStor claimed was BS a couple of years ago? Given Musk's involvement in EV, you'd think that he would have jumped on something that showed the slightest ...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Obviously Zenn still believes in the product. $1M is not a lot to go "all in". I'm just surprised they could so believe, especially with Weir relinquishing control. He must have been selling a story of over-involvement for quite some time. Perhaps given Zenn believes in the technology, they feel th...

Re: 10KW LENR demonstrator (new thread)
All of the theoretical discussion is nice, but conflating what Rossi and Defkalion with this is just plain silly. Both parading grandiose plans, but nothing, not even a little demonstrator device that one could purchase or obtain and verify the claims. Show this doubting Thomas that there's somethin...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Is B some sort of blood relation to Weir or one of his minions?

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
Well if Dick W. can't supply a current EESU for testing, maybe he can supply one of the ones he promised to have in 2005, or 2007, or...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
I think that Zenn is just parroting what Dick Weir is telling them. Some incredible admissions there. Well, if the EESU doesn't pan out, Zenn can always go back to the hydrogen power scheme of AEC. Oh, wait... One really has to wonder why Zenn didn't have a panel of SME's advising them and wa...

Re: 10KW LENR demonstrator (new thread)
Why is that a shame? They are both nutjobs. Acland has arguably done way more damage than Rossi in the aggregate. Fantasy Frank has been off the reservation more times than can be counted. That's certainly one way to look at it. My point was that taking Rossi, Defkalion, Brillouin, BLP, etc. out of...

Re: EEStor says something - but not too much
It seems to me that Weir was announcing production EESUs to be available before the end of 2007. Zenn (formerly "Feel Good Cars") got suckered into this mess back in 2005: On September 30, 2005, FGC entered into a Technology Agreement with EEStor, Inc. located in Austin Texas, to acquire the exclusi...
