LENR is all about neutron capture, fusion is not. The term cold fusion was a misnomer because they didn't have an adequate way to define it. We really should get our terms straight, this is not cold fusion. There is no overcoming of the CB nor any form of additional charge. I'll grant you the misno...

LENR and Cold Fusion aren't really the same thing at all. LENR requires no fusion process while cold fusion most certainly does. http://blog.newenergytimes.com/2011/12/08/unicorns-versus-horses-cold-fusion-versus-lenr/ For a brief explanation. LENR is CF re-branded and is likely the same reaction (...

- does not affect his arguments. - does not mention 'green goblins' either - perhaps they are responsible for Rossi's claim ;) So condensed matter conditions are irrelevant, and this is a fact? The answer depends on whom you ask ;o) 1+1=2 or 1+1=10 it really depends on some defaults. There is no an...

don't know whether anyone caught this before: http://blog.newenergytimes.com/2011/12/07/the-physics-of-why-the-e-cats-cold-fusion-claims-collapse/ good summary of why Rossi's isotopical claims simply 'cannot be'. happy new year to you all :) No metal lattice in stars. - does not affect his argument...

From the paper: However, the scattering experiments have only angular, and not transverse, resolution. Then if the nucleus is assumed to be non-spherical, such as a torus, a twisted torus, or a folded torus with much larger toroidal radius but thinner, the scattering data by positrons will be one an...

This is one of the better hypotheses explaining cold fusion that I have seen. It also predicts that Chromium could be used, providing a fairly simple way of confirming the theory. If it were, there could be political pressure to make something happen But political pressure did make something happen. And since me and a few others (TallDave was definitely an accomplice) stopped applying the pressure no one else has taken over the job. No matter. The work goes on. Yeah, I did n...

Bob: I just finished reading your book and I enjoyed it. It won't win any literary awards and it may not accomplish what you hope for, but I commend you for your effort. I encourage others to not be overly critical of this effort. I read most of it. Bob, I also applaud the effort and the idea that ...

Is this self-published? Instead of asking us to buy your book, maybe you should make the story good enough to sell it to a publisher. They will then have an obligation to market it, at least a little bit. I highly doubt that if a copy were sent to every person in congress that even one of those fool...

Seems too much tech to put bother putting on a car, unless you are building a time machine or something? Big fusion power plant nearby making hydrogen for you from water that you buy from the local service station just like gasoline sounds good to me. Or just use batteries, if that technology improv...
