and i do also think Joe is being slightly disingenuous or mischievous in suggesting there is 'zero' observational evidence of WB effect. So, you are agreed too that WB effect is not described well. agreed :) Or not described at all. no. it has been described in its most important aspects theoretica...

Possible means of getting electrons in: - inject along the right magnetic field line to pass through the cusp. A matter of position and velocity of injection. - neutral gas stripping. Requires supplemental heating, and is more dependent on annealing. - negative ions. Pass through cusps about as wel...

The plus up was to cover the additional work. Of the 5.3 they have so far invoiced 1.2. As for the timeline, that is up for some debate. But I do not think 2 years is correct. thanks for clarification Ladajo. though seems there is still some uncertainty on particulars/timeline quoted. i'm supposing...

i certainly agree with all of that. and i do also think Joe is being slightly disingenuous or mischievous in suggesting there is 'zero' observational evidence of WB effect. but then again Joe also denies all possibility of viable fusion power technology, ever, period. (I hope i do not overstate your...

rcain, I would recommend you go back and review the history of WB 1-6, 7, then 8. Wiffleball was identified and settled fairly early on. It was validated with 6 and 7. As you know, 8 is about the scaling. And scaling does not mean just size. They have clearly stated in public that confinement is pr...

Wrong. Once again you choose to ignore what folks post in repsonse to you. In any event, here is what I told EMC3 and also you on other occasions: I think you should read the historical documents about previous work. And then rethink your questions and comments. ....erm.. actually... i too would be...

Re: (tok) fusion in the news

they only ever seem to connect DD/DT... Only DT to be more realistic. People advocating other types of fuel today are too far from reality. As only if you would show the positive balance on DT you can go to the next stage - e.g. pB11, etc. agree in principle. however, both FocusFusion and Polywell ...

..just came across this, step-by-step walk-through of Friedman, Robertson, Walker equation of expanding (accelerating) universe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G5NAHsQkOA&feature=endscreen&NR=1 thought it might be of interest as background reading. straightforward and fun to follow.
