Thomas Mahood, who was advised by Dr. Woodward in his graduate studies chronicles his experience at CSUF as well as his research into exotic propulsion: http://www.otherhand.org/home-page/physics/graduate-studies-in-physics-at-cal-state-university-fullerton/ Tom seems to think there are possibly 2 e...

He also recently (last update) ruled out any kind of thermal effects, such as those claimed by ORNL years ago.

Woodward does mention Brito's scheme in his 2004 paper "Flux Capacitors and the Origin of Inertia" that was published in Foundations of Physics Letters.

Hector Brito wrote a few papers a couple of years ago on how if the Minkowski formualism of the Energy-Momentum tensor is the right one, you could manipulate inertia with electromagnetism for propulsion

Sorry about that. Here you go . Guys: I prefer to let Dr. Woodward explain the problem here, but off the top the person in question apparently doesn't appreciate the differences between special and general relativity. A hint, special relativity only applies to phenomenon within the local light cone...

Okay, this guy at NBF is pretty adamant in suggesting that Mach Effects violate at least one of three laws of physics : the principle of relativity, the 1st or second law of thermodynamics. This was after telling him that Woodward thinks Wheeler-Feynman advanced/retarded interactions are the way to ...

. Still requires negative mass however, but IIRC, the Woodward approach is conceptually capable of generating that. I think Sonny claimed in one of his papers that an alternative to negative mass-energy is negative pressure, which is more readily obtainable than exotic matter. Regardless of what ki...

or how massless particles can impart momentum Massless particles can and do impart momentum. Solar sails, for example, take advantage of radiation pressure (which is due to the fact that photons carry a momentum p=E/c). However, the proton mass inaccuracy is the biggest issue with ZPF theory, as we...

I guess based on what's on this agenda, Dr. Woodward did not get the funding he was hoping for?

I saw the name Townsend Brown. Approach with great caution. He was an advocate of the Aether theory, and he attempted to directly refute Einstein. His work is often cited by the asymmetrical capacitor people. My Initial response is a crackpottery warning. Way to overblow a non-issue. His name is me...

Thanks, Gee Gee, that's a thoughtful response. You're correct, I haven't seen this claim in a peer-reviewed paper as the ORNL paper was. I haven't asked woodward because I suspect I myself could not judge the correctness of the answer. I am merely trying to judge based on the perception of fair min...
