Re: EM Drive

https://www.reddit.com/r/EmDrive/comments/5jf32j/eaglework_paper_contains_major_flaws/ Reddit user Eric1600 has a pretty indepth analysis of the EagleWorks experiment and some issues they appear to have overlooked. I know Paul ventures here on occasion, so hopefully this can come to his attention. ...

Re: EM Drive

I happen to know Chinese and it's ridiculously easy to get tense wrong, especially from a translation site. As far as the "official" articles are concerned, there is a Professor currently working on the EmDrive and has claimed positive test results. The actual paper doesn't say they are testing an ...

Re: EM Drive

I hate those click-bait articles. I can't find any sources to back up what they're peddling... Sites like the ibtimes and nextbigfuture... Actual EM drive news has been pretty much at a slow but stable rate of "good" news. The latest being that China says, through official sources, that it has an E...

Re: EM Drive

I hate those click-bait articles. I can't find any sources to back up what they're peddling and the claims keep getting more grandiose. Sites like the ibtimes and nextbigfuture like to throw everything at the wall in hopes that one of them sticks. The pay off is that they can say they were first on ...

Re: EM Drive

ScottL - believe it when we see it is right, but like you and anyone with any imagination, I'm hoping it's real. I was just responding narrowly to the suggestion that it's a photon rocket. The thrust levels are too high. In fact, that's why it's controversial, come to think of it. Also, if my calcu...

Re: EM Drive

The ratio of thrust to power in reported by Shawyer and others is way above a photon rocket. Eagleworks Labs was on the low side of the reports, and they reported 1.2 mN/kW. A perfect photon rocket is 3.33 micro-Newtons/kW. I haven't read anyone skeptic or believer that accepts Shawyer's claim. Asi...

Re: EM Drive

The fact that the original chinese paper has the misconception that this is a launcher technology should tell all. I'm leaning more and more toward this being a very inefficient photon leaking experiment.

Re: LENR Is Real

As forecast, liar ladajo is responding with more drivel both here and on the BLP thread. I can't recall that he has ever come up with a single fact. Replace ladajo with parallel and I think you're on to something. Your link and run behavior is atrocious and when you do leave a comment based on some...

parallel.. Another black eye for those that believe physics was fixed when they were at school. Liar ladajo. wonder what EM Drive has to do with LENR being Real? Liar ladajo. Eagleworks is not NASA. ScottL And yet you were so smug in your ascertions that Rossi would come through. Now it's Rossi's fault you regurgitated his lies. Grow up and take some responsibility for your actions. Several of us have been calling you out for years now and not once have you substantiated any of your claims. NO...

Re: BLP news

"So, you are stating unequivocally that Rossi has a device for sale? Where is the order form?" No you can't, I never said they would be for sale to the public so you are misquoting me. As for the 1 MW unit, that contract also combined the exchange of IP and proof that it works. That contract is not...

Re: Mach Effect progress

If the EmDrive worked, you'd still need rockets to lift you into space. The EmDrive isn't projected to scale to ever be a launch system, nor even to get out of Earth's gravity well. Once out far enough, however; if calculations are correct, it was be cheaper than an Ion Thruster given enough time. ...
