He and his ex-wife still own 50%+ of the company shares, so he is still Chairman of the Board and pretty much still in the picture-- Just not the day to day operations of the outfit. Even with collage students, we still need a core of professional and experienced engineers. There is no way around that. Volunteers might help with the heavy lifting, and perhaps even with the cleaning, and collage students might help maintenance the computers or get some parts, but when we need to...

According to the Space Show on March 4, Jim Benson is working with Dr. Bussard to come to an agreement, after which they will attempt to get investors.
