1. I agree. Which immediately brings me to the next point. Could you tell me, from engineer to engineer, why Rossi is controlling this machine with a heater instead of a pump? The latter would boost the COP to a factor of 100 at least. He could install a small generator, buffered with a car battery...

Axil, don't you have any idea at all of how these things work? [Nano-defects are very tough. This toughness and associated resistance to melting and stress is conducive to the production of high pressure inside the defect. Rossi has stated that his temperature of his nano-powder can reach 1600C befo...

Oh yes, and Rossi has quite explicitly addressed the need for an unsealed reaction capsule. Why don't you know this? You are becoming an accomplished Rossi tracker. Since I obviously did not know this, you should have helpfully provided me a reference; after all I have done the same for you. Thanks...

As I said previously, I would optimize the Rossi reactor to burn Ni58 and use tungsten in a closed replaceable reaction chamber module to keep the gamma emitting gamma isotopes contained but I am not as shrewd as Rossi is. Oh yes, and Rossi has quite explicitly addressed the need for an unsealed re...

I believe that Ni58 will work but not as well as Rossi wants. Also, Ni58 will produce more gamma emitting byproducts than Rossi wants. Oh, lord. Axil, could you please tell exactly how you know this? From Rossi's press releases and blog? From his detailed experimental logs? As I said previously, I ...

http://nextbigfuture.com/2011/04/how-can-30-of-nickel-in-rossis-reactor.html Here is a post from the nextbigfuture that shows a positive energy production from NI58 to CU63 Sigh. Axil, when are you going to start paying attention? Andrea Rossi April 29th, 2011 at 2:47 PM Dear Mr Daniel De Francia: ...

It is also what makes DT so, you know, wrong. Add a proton, binding energy zero, to ANYTHING (well, any nucleus) and you release energy. DT can't seem to understand that. Don't know why that is. Maybe because it isn't true. Look up the curve of binding energy. No, not the the book about Ted Taylor ...

Correct me if I am wrong, as I understand the Kullander ash revelation, it was only a partial list of the element components of the ash. Hmmm. You may be right. It's a judgement call, I guess. If Kullander reported anomalous iron levels, it seems likely to me that he would have also reported anomal...

Sometime ago, Rossi said that he did not use zinc in his powder. There was an old post back in these pages about it. Right. And the patent application specifically says that zinc is a byproduct of the reaction. Of course, the "ash" analyzed by Kullander doesn't have any zinc. So where did it go? Ah...

DT - While I agree with your conclusion, your numbers need adjustment. Assuming there is ~ 13 kg of lead, spread over ~ 50 cm length of pipe with an radius of ~ 20 cm results in a surface area of ~ 50 cm * (20cm * 20 cm* 2 * pi) = ~ 2,000 cm^2. Estimating the lead density at ~ 14 g/ cm^3 results in ...

ONLY NI62 and NI64 'react'! We should probably stick to what Rossi is claiming, no? He is claiming that only NI62 and NI64 react. If his claims stayed constant, that would make this easier, and Rossi more believable. From the patent application: Accordingly, it is indispensable to use, for the abov...

Rossi is wrong about zinc also, It has been found in the ash of both Piantelli and Rossi. Link for the Rossi "zinc"? Rossi's patent application. SEM display shows zinc and copper at equal levels. Of course, the application shows the composition of the nickel "ash", but not the composition of the un...

"also"? What else is he wrong about? Is he wrong that only NI62 and NI64 'react"? Yes. They don't. Is he wrong that he has a fully formulated theory? Yes. He doesn't. Rossi is wrong about what is in his own ash? Yes. The samples he gave Kullander are intensely unlikely to come from his claimed proc...

The word deplete does not mean completely remove; it means “to reduce” True enough, although it can be used as such. One can speak of "total depletion". That aside, my usage agrees with yours, which is why I used the phrase "isotope elimination". So sorry for not believing you, You know: “Trust by ...

In the past, their has been some speculation here (Axil I think) that part (all?) of the E-Cat Hi preprosing included isotope separation. Rossi seems to put that to rest here: http://ecatreport.com/e-cat/andrea-rossi-e-cat-qa-highlights Question: Your fuels are both Hydrogen and Nickel if I have un...
