Re: The Sun
I used your original link (web address), so I do not know why you should not be able to see it? This is the web address I used: http://www.nanos.org.uk/jet.jpg This is the code I used: [/img] And for good measure here is the image again: So no problems with...
Re: The Sun
Nice Image!
The form you are looking for is: {img=insert link here with quotes}
However replace the braces with square brackets. It is not necessary to put [/img] at the end, but doing so makes formatting better?

Re: Superconductivity at low temperature and low pressure
Slashdot has a mention of the article [1] From the article we have; "Jorge Hirsch, a physicist at the University of California, San Diego, and a vociferous critic of the earlier work, is even more blunt. "I doubt [the new result], because I don't trust these authors." The earlier work as mentioned i...

Re: Is the Big Bang theory really in trouble?
Sorry I'm late to this discussion. I will add more debunking stuff to this conversation just as Lerner and Miles are bunkum, so is the Big Bang Theory. Michael Crichton said back in 2003 when he gave a lecture at the California Institute of Technology. “Let’s be clear: the work of science has nothin...

Lauching a Fusion Reactor into Space?
Can a Seattle Startup Launch a Fusion Reactor Into Space? From IEEE Spectrum comes the following paper: Can a Seattle Startup Launch a Fusion Reactor Into Space? Sounds interesting. However, Slashdot readers have responded with several points of fact. Which does not sound very good. The Slashdot art...

Re: We lost so many members :(
I'm still around. I just lurk. Polywell needs to be funded to the next level. Otherwise we will never know what "Polywell" can or cannot do. If I had the money (winning lotto) I would fun it without hesitation. Did the last round of tests not show any promise? I know they proved two separate experim...
Re: BLP news
Two years ago ±1 day, (page 42) I made a post and still there is no device from Mills that will provide unlimited power (27 years). Now that is what I call a bright future.

Re: possible legislative threat
If the CA government took someone to court over this legislation. Then the plaintiffs would use the first amendment to defend themselves. In New York Times v Sullivan (1964) Hustler Magazine v Falwell (1988) Rickert v Washington, (2007) United States v Alvarez (2012) The First Amendment protects fre...

Re: Article: Knowledge, Capital, and a Growing Sense of Mission: Fusion Energy Development Enters a New Era
There is a mention of Polywell in the article (albeit, it is the first picture) following the paragraph that starts "UK-based Tokamak Energy has stated a goal".
The picture history was the best thing of the whole article.

Re: Lockheed Martin’s Compact Fusion Reactor
What exactly is going on in regards with the LM fusion reactor stories? I do not think it is all plain sailing. This story "Lockheed Compact Reactor design is 100 times worse than initial claims", just appeared in NextBigFuture.
