Re: EM Drive

It's been a little hard to find updates for B1B2 or Barry-1. NSF forum recently locked the last discussion on the topic, https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=59047.25 I did find this: https://db.satnogs.org/satellite/QDDY-8878-5291-1819-3935 I find this to be a fascinating experiment. I...

Re: EM Drive

If anyhow this experiment will give a positive result I doubt it will follow QI theory as devised. Yet, even an unexplained 45 mN/100W will be enough to force the scientific establishment to wake up from the lethargy they have fallen into for the last 50 years and to start to revise and question th...

Re: EM Drive

It's been many years since last post. Most of the folks at the nsf forum are convinced this will not work. However the fact that this will be launched aboard the SpaceX Transporter 8 mission says a lot. Launch is set for NET June 10 2023. I give them full respect for believing on the idea and putti...

Re: EM Drive

SeeShells might disagree. For all we know, China had great results and wants to throw us off the path. I'm still awaiting the report from the NASA experiments.

Re: SpaceX News

Great achievement SpaceX.
I had the privilege of witnessing a historical event last night.
Indeed, access to space will get a lot cheaper.

Re: SpaceX News

My wild guess of a failure sequence. 1. MVAC chilldown starts some 18 seconds before O2 venting. 2. As O2 tank pressure drops because of chilldown O2 flow, pressure regulator opens He tank valve to keep O2 tank pressure constant (The He tanks are located in the O2 tank). 3. Pressure regulator closes...

Theoretical Breakthrough: Generating Matter and Antimatter f

ScienceDaily (Dec. 8, 2010) — Under just the right conditions -- which involve an ultra-high-intensity laser beam and a two-mile-long particle accelerator -- it could be possible to create something out of nothing, according to University of Michigan researchers. The scientists and engineers have de...

I've not mentioned anything about the sun. I don't think you've quite grasped what I'm saying - probably because of the enormity of what I'm saying. I am saying that photons are stationary, and we, the sun, and all 'matter' is moving at c relative to the CoM of the universe. We move relative to the...

You are proposing genocide." Like our elite Progressives here in the States;you have your head in the sand. Sta...

I could have sworn I just read a blurb on the net about a "strong acid" processes being used to align and extrude fibers of SWCNT that were meters long. Now I can't find it. Dang! It would be nice to have 20 ft of 1/4" line capable of towing an 18 wheeler in the boot of my vehicle. Not that towing an 18 wheeler is a good idea. Another advance in carbon nanotube manufacture. http://www.technologyreview.com/energy/23921/ "A new method for assembling carbon nanotubes has been u...
