Re: Too early for Polywell?

Now let's pretend all that problems don't exist and we miraculously have a factory putting out a new Polywell fusion plant plugs instantly into a coal plant and were putting out one a week. It would take about 137 years to replace all the coal plants. 1) Coal plants average 500mw, I imagine a P-b11...

Re: EMC2 has published a polywell preprint on arXiv

We have watched the polywell for many years, two questions have exist all that time: 1. Are the electrons in the center, non-thermal? Electrons in the center form the potential well and by definition cant thermalize. Brem requires electrons to be dense and energetic, in the center we see dense and ...

6660 wind turbines generate 1 gigawatt?

GE is @ 4Mw, Vesta is @ 6Mw. Next Gen turbines will be about 45% capacity, but use the current 40%.

625, 4MW turbines=2500Mw times 40%=1 gig.

Re: Progressives Are whining About infrastructure again

The ARRA spent about 170 billion on infrastructure stimulus. The infrastructure deficit is easily as high as 3 trillion. And many projects like high speed rail and light rail are not shovel ready, but are multi year projects that were not addressed by the ARRA. Most of the EU spends 5-6% of GDP annu...

IIRC Bussards Eagle class ship, designed to make a trip out to 550AU to place a grav lens telescope (round trip) would use L6/L6.

Publicly funded elections. Take the big money out of the process, no Union PACS, no Corporate PACS, no Issue PACS.

That would be a nice step forward.

Re: We need a new film on YouTube explaining the Polywell.

What is the singular goal of a new Polywell video? Who is the target audience? That U tube vid is horrid. It does nothing to introduce the non science type to the fundamentals of polywell. Kiss theorem fail. AS far as appealing to those that already understand those fundamentals, there is no need to...
