Re: Go Navy!

Officials of the Navy said, several aspects of the new carrier are different from those on the Liaoning. For example, the new ship’s island is shorter and the landing section is longer. I would say they are trying to maximize takeoff weight by giving a little more run out as well. Also, the smaller...

Re: Go Navy!

They are probably hoping that she doesn't attack the system that put her there, under-trained, under-experienced, under-equipped, and overly tasked. This was the defense that was used by the XO of the USS San Antonio, Sean Kearns, for the death that occurred on her maiden deployment. And it worked. ...

Re: 1st Superconducting High-beta Device

Unfortunately I can't go more detail about the potential well.

Ok, why?

Can't you at least talk about the approach you intend? I think you can do that at least, without the specifics you seem to be implying you are protecting? Or have I read you wrong?

Re: Go Navy!

It is too bad that the "Op" of OPNAV will never return. It has been fully outsourced to USFF. Now, if we can get USFF to get out of the OP business, stand-up LANTFLT, put 2,4 (if it lives), & 6 under LANT, and then have USFF become the Man, Train, & Equip authority riding herd on t...

Re: 1st Superconducting High-beta Device

How are you supporting your project?
And do you have more information available than what is on your webpage? It is kind of limited.
What are your configuration testing plans, instrumentation, etc.?
Would love to know more.

I agree under specific circumstance as you stated this is true. That, however was not the way it seemed he was speaking. He was generalizing as best I could tell. And badly.

Re: LENR Is Real

Well it seems Rossiclown is reading the blogs, and has now tried to cover up his idiocy with a little help from sock puppets. Of note, is that a poster from LENR Forum posted to Rossiclown's blog, with the correct interpretations and method for calculating temp / energy, and the post was deleted. Sh...

Re: SpaceX News

Yes, however the measure to which it has been harnessed makes it "boring". That said, fair point, it is amazing to watch and consider what it took to get here. And, then consider what is next. I would also hope that you know me well enough by now to understand the humor I intend by <yawn>...
