President Obama has violated the War Powers Act and the United States Constitution. It has yet to be shown to me where he has consulted Congress. Do you honestly think the House has enough backbone to push for an impeachment over this? Judging from all the campaign talk and waving of the constituti...

PS: is there a single way to spell this mans name? No, but there is a formula. http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/1391/qadafi.png I can't immediately remember other examples where acting on the behalf of the United Nations allowed the U.S. President to ignore U.S. Constitutional requirements for th...

This is a U.N. action, one where the U.S. is not even taking the lead, just providing support. Discussion of the constitutionality of participating in such actions would have to not ignore this and previous history of such actions. In the past, formal declarations of war have been overlooked/ignored...

As far as I'm concerned, the House has already produced results: they passed a bill repealing the Health Care Act. It doesn't matter (yet) that it won't pass the Senate, or that the President will veto it if it does. All they have to do is stick to their guns until 2012, when 1/3 of the Senate is up...

They extracted a lot of wealth when they processed all of those people back in Germany right after Kristalnacht. Yeah, that separating money from morals was a great idea! You gotta admit, that was a pretty unorthodox method, but it DID get things done! Kinda like the current drug assets forfeiture ...

I love the double think. Price controls isn't price fixing, but refusing to work is price fixing.

Doctors are apparently slaves to society. Break out the whips and force those bastards to work!

They are a lazy and careless people. I would rather have th Turks in the EU. At least they are clean and know how to take care of their stuff. IIRC, among the main reasons for the Greeks and the Italians joining the EU was lobbying made by the NATO. Either way, I would have never let them in. The I...

Incandescents aren't dead: http://physicsworld.com/cws/article/news/39362 I can't find a better article on it right now, though I've read that GE is currently industrializing the technique and expect to have them on the market before 2012. I would suggest the argument petered out because the opposition is self-admittedly ignorant and stubborn, and continued disagreement is a waste of effort and time. Kind of like filling out more useless tax forms. For example, hiring someone to fill out useless tax forms is as much of a waste of the ...

Obviously you've never run your own business and actually had to do the paperwork on your own time and dime.

If I'm wrong in this assessment, I'll eat my shorts. Unless your business failed, in which case, the shorts were already eaten.

I'll make a point to send 1099's to all of the local politicians we give money to, along with every "trade" group I'm a part of (AIA, NCARB, USGBC, etc.), as well as my insurance companies, the Car Tag and Licensing department. Hell, I'll "lose" the paperwork and send it all to them again. I relish ...
